The brewery I Peuceti, proudly the artisan brewery of the city of Bitonto, takes from the Peuceti, one of the populations of the iapigi that inhabited the land of Bari before the arrival of the Romans.

Through the bond with the Earth, the history and local traditions, the Peuceti brewery proposes, with its productions, the values of innovation, quality, orientation to the consumer, respect for the environment, legality and sustainable development. The Peuceti brewery, in a constantly evolving national context, presents itself with its brand of new sensory emotions, based on taste, smell and sight.

The main line of beers proposes a trip to the land of Bari and the Apulia region.

The first of these beers is the Cathedral beer: homage to the symbol of our land. It is a Golden ale-style beer brewed with the East Kent goldings hop to give it the peculiarities of a typical English Pale ale beer.

The second is the Baresana beer that represents the gateway to the varied world of craft beers. It is a light beer in Belgian style with fruity aromas and spicy with a malted taste and not too sparkling.

The third is the Levante beer that takes its name from the wind that winds mainly to aurora and laps the coast of Puglia, bringing with it the scents of the Orient. This beer is American IPA style. It is an amber, intriguing and intoxicated beer with floral, fruity and citrus scents supported delicately by the taste of caramelised malt.

Finally we have the last born of the Murgiana beer. Its name is linked to the karst plateau of Puglia, inspired by its colours, perfumes and essences. This beer is Apulian saison style. Orange-coloured, veamed and with persistent foam. It has spicy, citrus and floral aromas. It is produced with predominantly Italian malts, spices and local citrus fruits.  This beer has been rewarded recently with the Golosario Prize as the best beer of the International Fair Vinitaly 2014 which takes place annually in Verona.

Strong as an unconquerable rock, the towers faced brigants of land and corsairs of the Sea for the protection of the Puglie… and we are at the stronghold beer, a Scotch Ale therefore by the color amber Laden.

Starting from 2015 other new beers of the “one shot” and experimental line were produced.

The labels were made by the artist Francesco Ferrulli Pugliese who represented some glimpses of the landscapes and culture of Bari with its personal pictorial style. In this way, each bottle is a small work of art, confirming the uniqueness and originality of the artisan product that it contains.
